Mike Lancer got his start at Younger Brothers in March of 2009 as a foreman; by June, he was promoted to supervisor. Mike has 16 years of experience in residential and commercial concrete, with a career background that includes working as a supervisor, stem foreman, and a post tension foreman for a residential concrete company, and running a hardscape crew for a commercial concrete company. Here at Younger Brothers Concrete, Mike puts his experience and know-how to work collaborating with tract supervisors and homeowners to ensure a quality product in a timely manner.
Cray OakesonField Superintendent
With an impressive 21 years’ experience in the concrete industry, Cray Oakeson worked for three concrete companies in the Valley before starting with Younger Brothers in the Spring of 2008. Cray’s industry experience and background makes him well-equipped to oversee concrete jobs for several Shea and David Weekly communities in the Valley. Cray is certified in post tension by the American Concrete Institute (ACI).
Tom AshenbrennerField Superintendent
Tom Ashenbrenner has a long history with Younger Brothers, first working as a quality control employee, checking floors for accuracy prior to the placement of concrete. He also ran a flatwork crew before taking his current position as concrete field superintendent. Tom brings a wealth of experience and industry knowledge to the Younger Brothers team, having worked in both residential and commercial concrete for more than 25 years. Tom’s responsibilities include scheduling and working closely with each builder to ensure their work is quality, accurate, and on time.
Keith MeadField Superintendent
On any given day, Keith Mead can be found running field operations, scheduling crews, measuring and ordering material, monitoring compliance and quality, and just about anything else that helps keep the operation running smoothly. Prior to joining Younger Brothers in 2011, Keith worked in custom home concrete (including structural cast in place and decorative concrete), in tract home and production building of conventional and post-tensioned slabs, and commercial concrete including hardscape, tilt panel, pre-cast and high rises. His well-rounded industry background makes Keith a knowledgeable and experienced asset to the Younger Brothers Concrete team.
Nick BattenCustomer Care Superintendent
Nick Batten has been with Younger Brothers since the Spring of 2009. As a supervisor for Younger Brothers Concrete repair/epoxy division, Nick provides his knowledge, expertise and friendly assistance to homeowners for inspections and repair recommendations. With 10 years in the concrete industry, Nick has a keen insight on the challenges and needs of our clients. As such, he finds that providing the best possible customer service and support to his clients is particularly rewarding.
Eli Martinez Field Superintendent
An example of success in Younger Brothers vision of growing our family of employees, Eli was promoted internally to the position of Field Superintendent after successfully leading a form setting crew in the field for the company for 3 years. Eli’s hands on experience in the industry goes back 18 years and serves his customers and fellow tradesmen in an indispensable manner, especially combined with his enthusiastic attitude and unrelenting search for success in his daily endeavors.
